I'm gonna spin up a Linux machine and run Kodi for home use. I'll rebuild one of our ancient laptops, that way if gubbermint gets pissy or it dies, I can just use it for a target. :infantry:

They'll be knocking on your door for Kodi and that gun LOL.. You got any Raspberry Pi? Fun little things to play with, got one in a N64 case for my brother.

All my 'firearms' are registered :anonymous:

Never touched Pi. Little experience with Linux honestly too, but I don't want my good HP laptop running the Kodi in case the fecal matter hits the oscillating blades over pirated media streaming

I run Kodi on a raspberry pi, works great and easy setup. You should be able to run it on any laptop no problem as well.

Throw Open Office on a Mac/Linux and you can do just fine without office. Hell, I have open office on my W10 desktop cause I'm too lazy to buy office, and I damn near get it for free from work. Works fine.

lol no because the only clear agreement was "catching us". iirc the conversation was:

me: "Brian, y'all still on 5?"
B: "we finished already, I bet we could catch you before you finish at the speed you're going"
    me: "5$ you can't"
    B: "deal"
Everett: "did you guys go down 5 where 6 connected"
    B: "yeah we did 5"

some chatter about it taking us so long because we made a wrong turn on 6 at the beginning, blah blah blah

so we turned left on 5 and finished, nobody ever caught me.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
once we got behind @beertimecontinuum we picked up the pace considerably. :bananadance: if he hadnt kept stopping to wait on everyone behind me (which i was intentionally not doing lol) i would have followed him around all day lmao

Welllllll, I was limited.....Since my work laptop is "on the grid" with IT and they see about everything on it and have admin privileges....But I got to thinking....I also have a Surface:devil: (Take that IT!!) lol. Just googled the programs and found one with a free 10 day trial. Even after that it's only $20 so I installed the trial and HERE WE GO!
