Amazon sells a really nice filter wrench, it's the chrome one.

    Works great.

You can pick up a pack of 10 off eBay and Amazon most of the time with free shipping.

The 2.7 still has the clean and neat spin on filter.

The best wrench is a Lisle Import Filter wrench, available at a gazillion places, and inexpensive.

    I edited my post.

The one I have is for the smaller range filters, but works the same way.

Figured as much. I deleted my post correcting you... 10 oil filters would last me 10 years... I was going to order a 5 pack but I could die before I used up 5 filters so I just buy one off Ebay once a year to play it safe.

For the 2TR-FE (2.7L) motor for model years 2005-2017+

    Oil Filter: 90915-YZZD1

    CAVEAT:
YZZD3 is the oil filter for the 1GR-FE (4.0L) V6 motor, model years 2005-2015. The YZZD3 will thread on to the 2.7L and can be used but is much longer than what the correct one. Just so you know.

Also don't forget the Oil Drain Plug Gasket, Part No: 90430-12031

For the oil filter wrench on my 2013 equipped with the 2.7L (same as yours) I use:

    Assenmacher Specialty Tools TOY 730

    Available from Amazon: click here

This wrench fits absolutely perfect and works great for where the filter is located on my 2013.

That's why I mentioned it, figured if you were posting about something so basic you needed the help.
