This is why I've been hesitant on the LRs. I really want fixed uca's.

I really liked the idea of being able to adjust to get what you want but now that I have them I am constantly thinking about them moving while wheeling. Just wish I had found these before I ordered those.

That's what I was worried about. The only ly problem is that I can get the lr for over $100 cheaper.

I'm a mall crawler so I have no idea about that but it's nice that it can be replaced very easily like if you don't need the whole ball joint in just a piece here that you can buy kits

Okay so I have Toytec Boss coilover/shocks, OME leaf pack and JBA UCA's. I just got everything put on and my tech friend said I got 3" out of the back and 2" out of the front. He said he didn't want to go up further in the front because it started to put the CV's at an angle that he didn't recommend.

My first question is, if I leave it like that did I waste money in purchasing these UCA's because I've heard you don't really need them until you hit closer to 3"? Secondly, I do like to have a little rake towards the back being higher. I have a camper shell and I'm sure the Dakar leafs will settle out a little in time. If I want more lift later and keep the rake towards the back, I should be able to add a small block or leaf correct? If I do that and then adjust the coilovers a little higher to around 2.75-3". Is it really not recommended due to the CV angles? Should I just leave it as is or is there something to help ease the stress on the angles?

If I go from stock tires to 275/70/17 (about 32"x11") wouldn't this help with the CV angle going to a larger tire? It seems to me that with the stock tires the center hub is lower and if I went larger then the center hub would be higher and the CV angle wouldn't be as extreme. Am I correct in assuming that?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks guys.

Like @Unchained 5150 said, light racing. They are a brand of adjustable control arms that seem to be pretty popular around here.

Thanks I am pretty happy with the way it sits right now. How's this alignment look? It does feel like it just barely pulls to the right too.

10 inch tire or 40 inch tires the center of the tire is the center of the tire. The cv angle won't change with tire size only lift And articulation

Mine pulls to the right too and my steering wheel isnt centered. Driving my OCD nuts! I took it back and had them recheck everything and they said its good, then I took it to the dealership when I had to have some other stuff done and had them check it and they said it was good. So I dont know what to do now.

It took me over a year to find a good alignment ship and tech to get it all done wright. The steering wheel requires them to do 5 more minutes of wok to get it centered. God forbid they would go that extra mile for a good job.
They need to center the steering wheel and adjust the tie rods to get the wheels straight. The work on caster camber and toe.

anyone have info on the standard vs heavy duty jba arms? i definately wheel my truck, and im at almost 3 inches up front and a 2 inch aal out back, my stock arms contact the springs currently, was leaning towards the standard ones due to the great price but there is no gusseting for added strength. I know the moog ball joints are a great set up i was just trying to decide standard or heavy duty. thanks for any info in advance.
