I'm between these and some DuraTrac. I think. Toyo R/T are an idea too

    Fellas,

Looking to get some advice from anyone running the 275/70/18 set-up because I have had the worst time trying to prevent rubbing and getting the front-end aligned correctly. Currently running Icon 2.0 Coil-overs and want to install some Bora 1.25" wheel spacers for a more aggressive look, so was wondering if I should step down to the 265's to correct the problem, or get some advice to resolve the issue. Also know the Cab Mount Chop is a possibility but looking to avoid going that route. Any alignment spec recommendations would also be greatly appreciated.

    Do you have aftermarket UCAs?

That will play a role in the alignment and consequential rubbing

I have a set of 18" FN BFD and Light Racing UCAs. Didn't really have an issue until I replaced my old ICONs with a new set and went to get it aligned.

A little more caster would push the wheel forward & possibly prevent rubbing.
I had them put mine close to 4° so my 35's won't rub, at 3° they rubbed.

Only on the rear to even it with the front. My spindles add .75" track width to each side.

Hey Spruce, wanted to confirm what tire size you went with because I'm only seeing 285/65/18's and not sure if there's a difference between them and the 285/70/18 terra grapplers I'm currently running?

Yes I know... But around here in the south east, you almost only ever see Nittos on full sized trucks with huge lifts and 20" Moto Metal whatever wheels with the stars in the center. And they are always super loud.

I bought the ridge graps regardless, and I couldn't be happier.

I have nothing to compared them to after only personally using the NRG's - but i will tell you, 1) at freeway speed, they're very quiet, 2) personally I think look very aggressive, 3) Have yet to go muddin/crawlin with these, but the pattern looks nobby as hell to work on most anything. My 35 x 12.5 18's are 74 lbs each. Just to help you compare to anything else you're lookin' at.

74 lbs is 6 lbs less than my 31s on the Ray 10s. Just sayin'
