    Hi,

I’ll probably get flamed for this but I’m looking to purchase sliders not for Rock crawling but to protect my doors from door dings.

I live in LA and people here don’t give two sh*ts about your ride. I think having sliders will eliminate the door dings.

Looking for something sleek, clean and bolt on. Any recommendations?

    Much appreciated, thx.

I can't remember the name of the company but someone makes steps that look just like sliders but they bolt onto the body like steps do. Probably a lot cheaper and lighter than going with real steel sliders.

They really only protect against dings from small cars, any other truck or SUV will clear the sliders and hit your truck. Its worth it though to see that one Civic hit your sliders and then get all bent out of shape like it's your truck's fault, lol.

If you do go sliders, Mobtown makes a popular bolt on option.

I have Avids. As long as you don't use them for offroad or hilift purposes, they are great. My needs changed and they were converted to weld on for function over form.

I watchedas a lady in a Honda murdered her door against my slider at the grocery store last night. I was pissed at first until I saw the carnage on her door and the easily fixable with a rough sponge on my tube.
