Sometimes the wires get bent back and forth so much they break inside the sleeve or at the Lug. I fought a ground that was all busted up 2 inches from the connecting lug.

Finally got new tires on. Falken Wildpeak AT/3W in LT 265 75 16 on a set of 16” 4runner 5 spokes.

Need to lift the rear, but I’m strapped for cash. Anyone have suggestions for an add-a-leaf that’ll work well on the single cab? I have a set of 5 wheels + tires in the back in the photo, so the lean is a bit exaggerated, but I’m hoping for around 1.5".

The winch isn't Rubber and doesent add traction, it just pulls. My hi lift counts as a wheel to then. Don't try to bend the rules here...now if you ran your spare tire to a separate motor....

Well, this weekend I replaced the sway bar bushings and steering rack bushings. The idiots who worked on this thing before over-torqued almost everything and stripped out a few of the heads on certain bolts. There were two or three skid plate bolts that were stripped, and then I found these two problems.

The ball joint on the sway bar end link had the allen key stripped almost completely round. And the sway bar mounting bracket on the same side had a bolt so rusted that it sheered off - I used maybe 50% effort when I tried to turn the socket and it just sheered. Probably because it sits so close to the exhaust.

Anyway, turned an easy job into a complete pain in the ass. Got it all done though, new bushings all the way around except the sway bar end links which the set I bought was not designed for. Speaking of, I have a set of sway bar end link bushings for a 3rd gen 4runner for free.

I know how you could've made that job easier and cheaper.
Step 1 cut off sway bar
Step 2 throw sway bar in trash

Went for a little burn yesterday. My lower control arm bushings are shot. Is my best bet to find a set of used lcas or go with an aftermarket brand? Ive heard its a pain in the ass to change the bushings in these
