I'm still on the original belt and pulleys. My truck squeaks a little, especially after it's rained. For now, it's easier just to turn up the radio.

 

I'd do the belt and call it a day if that is the only time it squeaks. Check the pulleys while you are in there but a belt that is 11 years old will leave you stranded at some point

 

Just drive with a 12mm wrench and spare belt

 

Hm.. weird mine was a 14mm...

 

Mine is a 14mm and i use a 2' long break bar to move the tensioner.

I know of a property in Danbury with a big arse propane tank that feeds the stove & has a feed for the BBQ on the deck. Don't know if it's legal, but gas company keeps refilling it & the line to the BBQ is hard to miss....

 

I usually wait until 200k on the vehicle, 42k is pretty young. Experience is my windscreen was so pitted I couldn't see when driving into the sun. I went to my insurance agent & they were hemming & hawing, so I cut to the chase - which is cheaper, covering damage from the accident I'm going to have, or covering the windshield w/ the glass coverage I've been paying for ? He okay'd my new windscreen. (Allstate)

 

I always have a basic toolset with me. I was going to replace the belt a couple years ago. I left the new belt in one of the bed pockets. Didn't look so great after a while.

I don't get it. Only a second rounder for him too? He is still unproven , but still. And they now only have 1 QB on the roster. But it's bill, so you know there has to be a logical reason.......right?

Honestly just guessing 12 I carry a wrench bag anyway.... but haven’t needed a belt in a long time. Although I rebuilt a Camry for my brother a few months ago and did water pump+belts and valve cover gasket and had the alternator rebuilt. Old alternators can be noisy fuckers

 

I want to love it as a Japanese diesel in the US market. I think the tundra would have put that diesel to better use.

I’m holding out hope for USDM diesel Toyota’s to return.

Usually I wait for it to crack. Sometimes if it’s pitted enough, it mysteriously cracks in the parking lot..

What sucks is I just had my windshield replaced before moving up from NY, and it broke on my way up to NH lol

Yeah but I heard after that the Pats had been trying to resign him ever since the start of preseason but he wouldn't sign, so it's trade now or get nothing for him when his contract runs out at the end of the season. Also the 49ers just let go of Brian Hoyer so they will probably just bring him back. He already knows the way the offense works here anyways

Nope! Said it the other day, he isn't being signed because of his political beliefs. It's because he isn't good enough for teams to deal with the BS and distractions that he brings along.

 

Is the BBQ a built in unit? The issue the Fire Dept had with mine was I wanted quick connects. If I had built in the generator and/or the BBQ, they would have piped to it no problem and left a threaded shut off valve at the attachment. Personally, I don't really see the issue, but someone had a wild hair across their ass about it so I didn't push the issue (I wanted to make sure they were going to sign off on the current permit so I didn't push too hard).
