No lie open heart surgery was the hardest thing I ever had to do, wouldn't wish it on anybody! I'm tired of seeing Drs and nurses, well maybe not nurses:D Still got a half dozen appt. scheduled.

My wife got her hip scoped on WC and it took a year and 13 Dr. to get that approved. She still has pain in the hip.

Its down right getting cold up here in the High Desert with the strong winds from the west and dropping temps its going to get very cold tonite

Right now with wind chill factored in it a nice and warm 42° right now . I just got back from the store which 10 miles away and when i parked the engine temp was reading normal .When I came out 45min later and back into my truck and started it back up the engine temp was cold like sitting overnight

When I had my last SLAP / Rotator cuff surgery back in 2003 my workers comp paid for 5 other surgeries that I needed which also included surgeries to repair a torn nerve in my shoulder /chest area and collar bone areas and then a surgery on my elbow for a damaged ulnar nerve

One of these surgeries which was for the thoracic outlet the surgeon screwed up and nicked my phrenic nerve . this nerve controls the r/side of my diaphragm and now I've got shortness of breathe . this nerve is so delicate its almost like your spinal cord

This botched surgery is how I won a large settlement

I quit the pills I may start again as they help some. They're not good for the kidneys and being diabetic I didn't really want anything else fighting against me

I am apparently stupid also this was a work related injury how is it they are making you use your own sick time? Even our fucked up system only made you use your time for anything under 3 days. How can they not go for the shoulder replacement if the DR says it is that or no more work and they pay you disability pension etc ?

When they stopped paying me my full pay check and i had to start using my insurance checks they said I had a choice. Either I write a check t them out of my reduced income for insurance, They could use 10 hrs of leave per pay check to cover my ins., or I drop the insurance. We haven't reached the point yet where he says I can't work with out a replacement and doubt we will as his attitude is I'll just have to deal with the pain. Remember this is the same dude that has blamed my pain on the arthrittis since the beginning rt up until he operated. He then told us how really torn up my shoulder was and how fragile it will be from now on and as soon as I said anything about pain went rt beck to blaming the arthrittis
