Just got this truck yesterday. Kind of used to an armrest and I found that a little odd as well as no tach, but other than that, this is exactly what I wanted and I dig this color. Only has 42K miles on it and whoever had it really took great care of it.

Thanks. I am still in disbelief at the condition of this truck. The only thing I wish it had was the 60/40 seat. I guess I could keep my eye out for one. I don't think that would be an easy find though.

    SHINY.

Man, that looks showroom fresh. Does it still have new truck smell? Sweet find. Somehow, I don't think you'll need to replace the window weatherstrips, cupholder flaps, steering rack bushings, sway bar bushings, shocks, or leaf springs on that yet.

I knew someone out there saw it. I just couldn't find one and have been looking and looking. Too many miles on most, I don't like the '05's and up, so that killed me. This is a one owner, super low mileage and it wasn't used as a truck. It doesn't have any wear on it other than a scratch next to the fuel door. They were tough letting it go. Remember, I paid extra for the custom cap. lol Lets just say, I overpaid or if you look at it from my perspective, I got what I wanted. They knew someone would pay for one with 42k on it.

Thanks for the nice welcome. I am pretty excited to find one in this shape. It was worth the two flights to get down to Richmond and drive it back to Pittsburgh. The drive went fast.

hey if you over paid a couple thousand, as long as the truck is as good as it looks, who cares!? 1st gen with those miles are few..

Yeah, I went over budget, but I couldn't find anything out there that was doing it for me. I think I will keep this truck a very long time though, so that will ease the pain. Well driving it eases the pain too.

Very very nice. Just what I am looking for and with only 40k miles. I'll have to start looking harder.
The seat you are taking about is the bucket with the console/arm rest in the middle with hidden console below the upper console? My 2002 has such a seat and I think the Tacoma model was called the Sport.

Green is one of my favorite tacoma colors. If that thing was an ext cab, i would be offering to trade man!

Im a big fan of that style of 1st gen with the black grill plate. (same as mine)
