OK, My ignorance is showing. Can someone explain this whole fluid film thing to me. Assume it's for paint protection, that it's sprayed on and that its removable?
I no longer have a compressor. Is it an aerosol spray, do stealerships apply it? Here's the big one, can it be applied to windshields without diminishing visibility?:anonymous:

Fluid film is rust protection. It comes in aerosol, dunno for sure but It may be able to be bought as no aerosol. I do not thingk you want to put it on glass, glas does not rust anyhow. Fluid film offers rust protection for about 6mo depending on driving, weather, etc.

I think the glass equivalent or at lease simular product is Rain-x.

OK that is all I know. have a good day!!

There is a new Vehicle OCD™ "half" tray recently released for the Gen2 Tacoma that does exactly that and it fits the Gen3.

Headliner out to apply some sound mat to the roof and try my hand at vinyl. There is absolutely no deadener from the factory.

Taking all the panels off again (previous audio install) was a PITA.

I'm thinking it's going to be easier to get back in if I remove the seats first.

Well......today is the 7th day I've owned my Tacoma.

I didn't want the first week to pass without some major upgrades.

I figured I'd go ahead and tackle a big'un. This is one of those mods that once done....can't be easily undone.

It took a large chunk of time and took a considerable amount of funds from my meager bank account.

The members here at TW are to blame, too......as I had no idea such things could be done prior to joining here.

You rogues will be the getting in my pocket with future mods/upgrades and such. Damn.

    Hellsyes !!!!!

No slide, no glide....shit stays put and doesn't vibrate.

I've always thought that bedliners were crucial.....spray-in or composite beds........but now I see the bed mats are a much needed addition, too.
