    Ummm well my Pending cels went away and i cleared my "o2 sensor stuck rich" and my afrs seem to have straightened out, so that's something, but not very exciting.


    I did ask my wife this mornin if she wanted me to moisten her panties, and she said "no, dont do that with me or charleigh in the truck" so i have a new project to work on it seems:burnrubber:

    And the code is back and i have lean spikes again. Is my sensor going bad?
    20171031_102742.jpg drives pretty normal (afrs and fuel trims and actually driving) when code is off. When it is on afrs go nutz fuel trims go rich and there are several places where it has like a miss fire (afrs maxed out 18.15+)

    Post a picture of your intake tubing again. The section which has the MAF sensor in it.

    Not yet turbo related. Intriguing none the less.

    Got a porta-band saw. Hacked out the section of my charge pipe, containing the MAF sensor and flow straightener, that routed into the TB.

    Why you ask? I've been curious for years, how much of a restriction the intercooler was, without a turbo feeding it. Coupled the section in with a Greddy filter infront of it. Short run straight into the TB.

    Holy smokes. It almost feels like the engine has V-Tec when it comes on the cam's power band now. Holy sh!t!

    The updated timing map and this have really woken up the engine! Going to really be a beast once I get the turbo kit mated.

    Does it have a flow straightener?

    Is the MAF in the metal section just before the bend, or in the plastic?

    If no straightener, then loose the clamps, and clock it a few degrees in up. Reclamp, and test drive. Keep doing this until you find the smoothest MAF reading. Translated into better short term trims.

    Pretty much. Lol. I only put the MAF back in for two reasons. The Haltech uses its air temp sensor, and didn't have a coupling to reduce from 4" to 3.5", nor a 3.5"-to 3.5"

    As well as we installed a set of @Bonzen engine mounts, on @Lucario Runner 's T4R. That put up a little fight. :fistbump: Had a little Tacoma mod weekend.

    Yeah that straight "chrome" section before the last 180°. Ill clock it up some and see if it helps thanks

    A Denso Relic that by appearances should have been trash. Which goes to show you that Denso is superior to TYC on every level. LOL

    The patina that the starter has on it matches my roof. So it is a perfect fit
