What flatbed are you going with, or building your own?

All aluminum and I’ll be getting their cap too.

Slightly more pricey but has replaceable parts, and accessories than a custom one off.

Frame plates ordered. Going to be boxing the back half of the frame when the bed is off. Ordering the flat bed this week. Everyone is pretty busy with SEMA this week I guess.

    Electrical update.

I new my alternator was not putting out enough volts to charge my batteries. Ideally for a AGM you need up to 14.6 volts to get a proper charge. Although my solar panel was doing this when parked, when driving my starting battery was not getting the optimal charge as much as it should.

My options were to either alter where my voltage sensing wire was or get a bigger alternator. I didn't want to cut up the stock harness, and getting a bigger alternator wouldn't help since the voltage sensing wire would just limit it (from my knowledge)

    in comes in https://www.hkbelect.com

With a simple fuse, it alters the input and raises your voltage .2-.5 volts. Doesn't sound like much, but it will ensure my batteries are properly charged.

This was a cold start and both batteries are receiving the proper voltage.

Happy to say that the 1/0 cable I routed to the back of the truck has no voltage drop which is awesome. Now I just have to figure out how to wire everything when the flatbed arrives and I box the back half of the frame.
