Yessss. This is what I need in my life. Guess I'll have to creep on IG to see what set up he is running. I assume I'm gonna need to add a leaf or something to account for that added weight. Anyone know if there are frame tie ins or anything additional to support this weight?

I am going to reach out to him through his site--thanks for the heads up. Looked him up on IG but don't see any pictures of the dual swing out. Do you have any pictures of it?

bruteforcefab's website doesn't seem to be responding to my submission for a question (or functioning very well at the moment). I'll have to call them in the am.

Talked to Billy today. It's definitely possible and the price isn't outrageous considering the custom work needed for this application. I'll keep yall up to date for what I end up doing. The main thing for me is what suspension upgrades I'll need for my OME 3.5" lift I have now. The current plan is to go with a high clearance bumper with 2 swing out arms with 1 longer than the other because I am using a recessed hitch mount inside the longer arm for a bike rack and that will center it on a longer arm. Then we'd custom insert brake lights and turn signals for safety reasons. Also going to modify the hinges to open further than typical so that I can mount fold down tables inside each swing out arm and be able to clear the tail gate when open. Let's see where we end up!

Thanks for the recommendation! It might take a few weeks/months before it is all said and done because we are talking about custom fabbing the bumper, bike carrier, buying a 6th wheel and tire, powercoaing, and then installing the high clearance bumper after arrival. I'll definitely respond once I get some additional updates, but if there are other recommendations or things to consider along the way please let me know!

OK so I'm about a week away from having this installed. Got it back from Billy, sent it over to my powder coater, and now it's being installed. Hopefully this doesn't cause any sagging requiring me to mess with my leaf springs. One of the pix has the tire mocked up at an angle. We ended up going with a vertical tire mount because I have my bike rack that will go back there as well. Having it vertical saves about 3".

Also have some super bright LED lights inside the bumper for brake, turn, and reverse. The factory lights are mostly covered so we wanted to remain safe and legal. Also opted for these smaller lights instead of junky trailer lights.

Things are about 90% done on the truck. Got everything mounted and just need to do the lights now. What do yall think?

Gotta give a huge shout out to Billy at BruteForceFab. He helped me customize this thing from start to finish and was very open about communicating on design ideas and during the build. During transit, one of the latches someone ended up missing. These aren't some cheap latch either, they are $90 southco latches. He shipped one out to me overnight so that I could get my truck back on the road as soon as possible. Definitely worth the wait and basically can't get any better than working with Billy. Now go buy his bumpers!!! PS--I'm unaffiliated with him and get no kickbacks for this. I just believe in spreading the good word!
