It’s funny you guys mentioned handles - I was just looking at the side of my cabrack today wondering if I could put a grab handle of some sort on the side above the door- it’s easy enough to reach and I could pull myself off the seat - the outer side of my seat on my Gen 1 wore out and I had to replace the plastic side to it for the weight of my butt sliding over the corner to get in and out. If I can lift myself off the seat, I can maybe save my upholstery and the plastic side of my new seat.

    Buy a Civic.

    Or a 5 lug Tacoma.

    And forget about lifting.

Or just get them removed and get a 6" lift.

If the metal roof side behind the soft roof material has mounting points for a handle, this can be accomplished.

What are you programming in C ??

But in my case, I have a Prinsu rack with lots of places to mount a handle. One could use the bolt hole up there in the roof for some sort of a monkey bar I guess, mine would be right off the side mounted to the rack.
