I was checking there but how do you know if they are authentic? Even off Amazon scares me a bit.

I just grabbed Poe’s xwing off Amazon. Pretty excited. Had to buy a new one because my 7 year old daughter took over and built the whole at-st. Happy she’s into it. But a bit sad I didn’t get to build it.

My wife is terrified. Haha. More because of our little apartment not having much space.

So in Lego news. The Taj Mahal will be re-released again in Nov. This was a set that I missed and I wasn't upset about it. It's interesting enough but $370 isn't cheap enough for me to bite. So guys here is a set you won't see me getting. (Disclaimer: unless it's heavily discounted at some point)

Kylo Renn Tie Fighter, BB-8, First Order Star Destroyer, Slave I, Pretty much all of them. The ultimate set would be the 7541 piece Millenium Falcon, but at $800 my budget would need some tweaking!

If you like Star Wars then get the UCS series Slave 1 (75060) Tie Fighter (75095) and Snowspeeder (75144). They are all priced at the $199.99 mark. Plus the Tie Fighter has been around a while and might retire soon.

If you're looking for cheaper alternatives. The BB8 (75187) is a great suggestion. Also Kylie Ren's Tie Fighter (75179) is damn cool. Additionally the Star Wars advent calendar (75184) is always fun. Lastly I like the First Order Walker (75189), it's a little more but can be found on sale soon I'm sure.

If you got the money I'd definitely look at the UCS. You can't go wrong with these awesome builds. No matter what you get, you and the family will love it.

Finally the last of my winter village sets arrived. Now I have all of them in the theme. Plus I got an older Star Wars advent.

I just bought a bunch of the older Lego "Kingdom" and "Castle" sets. Just recently finished building a shed and cleared out my workshop in the house, which is now being converted to a Lego room (I have a very cool/understanding wife). Next step is to pull the bins and bins of Lego in my parents attic out!
