Its the last piece of chrome that i need to black out on the truck

 

It had dents and rust from paint chips
So i made it look invisible lol

 

Nah it came that way. Bought it used form a local tw member.

 

Mine came with the truck
Wish it was black
Im not sure what finish would be durable enough
Dont want it start chipping and looking tacky

 

Thats the camo pattern that have on my firearms and i wear during hunting season so i just went with it

 

Took measurements and ordered my limit straps now I can take it off some sweet jumps..,

Maybe bedliner it or flex seal it. Plasti Dio it. Hell I dunno

 

Probably a cable or tensioner. Just work ur way back and see if anything looks werid. If not take the wheels off and check the adjuster inside the Drum

If u can recreate the situation in a safe way and look under the truck maybe you'll see what the deal is

 

I trussed mine. Don't think it was necessary but I had it out. Just take your time. They are easy to warp. And that axle will hold up fine.

When I did mine, I painted the inside. Shouldn't fade that way being pretty sealed up.

Just the inside? I did one or two coats inside and 3 outside I think.

 

Yup inside only. Did need a couple coats as well.

 

I found this paint that was a very close match a few years ago. It has a fine texture to it. I have not been able to find the exact color again in stores though. I painted my sub box with it, you can see that in my build thread.

 

32x11.5x15 KO2's went on today.

Stickers add 6-7hp each.
