In between my kids' school Halloween Parade and trick or treating I finished up my video and completed the install of LED reverse lights and front turn signals. I wasn't really sure it would be that much of a difference but I can tell you I was wrong!

    Check out the difference!

I just need LED brake lights and I'll be LED to the MAX! :D;)

I'm not a hater of the interior lights but the bed lights are what I am really interested in. I'm comfortable wiring a house but when it comes to DC wiring in my Taco I am pretty much a babel in the woods. If you wouldn't mind could you give me a little more detail of the wiring on the bed lights? Truck is new and I'm a little gun shy tapping into the wiring and don't want to mess it up. Sorry about having to ask. No big hurry, whenever you get a chance.

I did mine 2 months ago. Really easy just time consuming especially if you want everything protected. Chose not to tap into anything but to come straight off the battery to a switch

Did you run the wiring through the bed and along the frame to the engine compartment and then from the engine compartment through the firewall to the switch?

How do you like the RXT leafs? Any noise? I'm thinking of buying them.

What do you want to know? Biggest use for adding onboard air is for lockers (front + rear) and the ability to air up and down on the trail. I'm setting my truck up for overlanding. Having air allows me to air up/down for different trails and inflate an air mattress, float tube, or inflatable boat for fishing. Soon, I'll be adding a front locker - think I'm going with a truetrac in the rear.

Did you use the slee off-road compressor mount? That's what I'm planning on doing. I'd ultimately like to have the hose quick connect located towards the front in the grill or top of the front bumper so I can hit the switch in the cab and then quick connect the hose at the front of the truck so I can air up and down without opening the hood. Haven't worked out that part yet. I've seen similar OBA's on other types of vehicles set up with a front and rear quick connect. Seems to work really well.

Yes, I used the slee mount. It really makes for a clean install.

I was curious as to whether it was powerful enough for airing up tires. I was just thinking about an on board air supply but I know pretty much nothing of it

The photos don't really show it - but I can easily reach around the ipad (or move it) to get access to the 2WD/4WD knob

Like I said - my biggest concern was getting this expensive gear out of the truck when I'm parked at a trailhead overnight and away from the truck - smash and grab break-ins are a big problem at WA trailheads

Not finding the same bulbs you ordered online for the back up led lights. These look more like the ones you have for the back ups.

It is rated to air up a 35-37" tire in about 2 minutes. It is a luxury, but I travel in remote locations by myself and like having all the gear I need to be self-reliant.
