I can come down most any weekend with the exception of next weekend. We'll be in Denver. I didn't get to hit much of Puerco and still need to see what it has to offer.

Are you wanting me to make those new face plates for you?

Got my sliders on tonight! They're sweet. I'll get some pictures up tomorrow.

Ill be buying metal for my set of sliders probely next week. and then have them fabb'ed up shortly there after. My mom is a welder adn usually does artistic pieces but offered to do my sliders for both the taco and my other jeep.

Worked on debadging today. It was kinda a pain in the butt. But I got it done and tomorrow im gonna paint them and black them out should look pretty sweet. Ill post some pics when I can.

haha well it is pretty funny now but i was so pissed when it happened, its a long story but while i was painting it i was letting it dry and i forgot that i didnt bolt it in and colse my hood all the way after like 4 hours, so me and my gf left and well i was driving my hood started jumping up and down i tried to pull over to colse it and bolt the grill back in and well it fell out so i effin ran over it.:(

hey thanks man just wish i still had it haha. anyway i just went to homedepot and bought some stuco mesh , it worked well but it was just a tad bit flimsly i was just useing it till i could find somethin better.

but it workes great and its like 5 bucks for a big ass sheet you can prob cut 3 or so grill out of it

Well here they are. Crappy cell phone pics but my wife is out of town and she took the camera. They aren't as pretty as some but they're perfectly even and still look good. I over engineered the hell out of them and they are absolutely bomb proof. I floor-jacked up each entire side of the vehicle from the outer rails and neither side flexed even a hair. I mounted them up real tight to the body so as not to lose clearance and I kept them from sticking out too far for looks preference. If you step back far enough you can hardly see them because the black sliders just take up what used to be black frame hanging down. I chose to weld them on.

I used Rustoleum primer and flat black paint. I figured if and when they get scratched up, they'll be easy to retouch. I thought about the hammered finish and I thought about rattle can bed liner. I still may do the bed liner. I don't know.

It's funny you say that. Today I was outside bed lining my truck bed tool box. First time I've used the stuff. I see an addiction in the future. I've already got plans to spray all kinds of crap. The only bad thing I can say about it is that a can doesn't go very far. I bought two cans for my little slim lo pro tool box and it didn't do it. I just went out and bought two more to finish the job. It's getting expensive. 4 cans of bed liner at $8 each and 3 cans of self-etching primer for aluminum at $6 each.
