All Things Bikes and Tacos! (...and every vehicle imaginable)

Its a Race Face pad. It has channels for the top tube and fork to sit in. Bikes don't move an inch. No pockets though...

I've seen a few people put a bike on each end and sling a trasharoo in the middle for all their pads and whatnot. Keeps the mud out, but isn't secure by any means.

Most bikes I've seen on a tacoma is 17 in Grand Junction, CO

7 in the bed, 6 on a recon rack, and 4 on the roof. 15 pax van followed. It was magnificent. Hysterical to watch em pull all of em out.

 

I wanted to ride Guacamole on Friday after the event, but everyone was baked by the sun all day...and all the day drinking...

Did you camp down there? I was in the Kolob road BLM site.

Nice! You're gonna love it! Which one did you get? You should come down to Moab or to Hurricane / Zion area to escape the cold sometime. We can go hit the trails hard and most trailheads let you camp in / near them.

But yeah, RTT was the tits. Especially after 3 long days/nights of all night bonfire rowdiness, day drinking, and hard riding, having 3 inches of memory mattress to catch you was a godsend. Myself and another guy with an F-150 had one in our group of 22 people. I should work in sales, because everywhere I go, people are amazed by it when I show them. I think we sold a few people on them this weekend.

Honestly, I have gone camping two to three times as much in the past few months since I have had it than the year before I did. It is just super easy to load up the bike and a cooler in the bed and just go. Especially out west where we live, it isn't hard at all to just find a remote spot to park and in >10 minutes, you have a bed to sleep in.

Fun story: Not so much with the hardshells since they look more like roof boxes, but with the grey cover flip tents, my friends and I get "What is under there?" all the time in parking lots. My favorite answer I had a lady eating up was "hot air balloon attachment". Bolt it to you bed, take off the cover, and off you go!

 

Hahaha That last part of the story is freaking awesome! Yea I'm pretty stoked on the idea. And yes I would love to get out there to get some rides in when the weather is shite here. I have a few friends that might want to tag along as well. Ill keep you posted if we end up making something happen.

Anybody have better pics of how the fork mount attaches to the front rail of the @KB Voodoo bed rack? I need to see if my current mounts will still work.

They need a slot appx 4"long minimum for each. I've seen a few pics with holes but can tell if there are slots on the sides.
