It smelled like shit and had a really thick shield on it so i left it there. I did cut the head off to put on the front porch for halloween. We normally don't start eating them until it starts raining and they are eating better.

Thinking of doing another build; this time in 7.62x39. Anyone had experience? Should I just buy an AK instead?

Nice Shot placement! How far away was he? When I hunt pigs they are usually out 100 yards or less. Bastards never stop moving around.

 

You will love that trigger! The only reason I did not go with the straight trigger is CMC stated that it did not work well if you were also using a BAD lever. And I am so I went with the curved trigger. Mine broke the scale all day long at 3.2 Pounds.

 

Certainly the easier route, but I liked the idea of being able to use whatever accessories and triggers I wanted if I go the AR route. I would like to get familiar with the AK platform. Decisions, decisions.

 

There are now tons of AK accessories out on the market, It is not like it use to be.

I have that same trigger in my AR10

 

The Upper lower combo and the handguard are from Juggernaut Tactical and it's called sniper grey. The stock is a Magpul and it's just grey but matches up perfectly.

You think thats due to the sound of the action or the sound of the round? I'll be honest, a big part of the reason I dont already have an AK is due to the fact that its the dedicated "bad guy" gun.
