BAMF sliders with pilferybilt skids?

hey guys, iv got a set of pelfreybilt skids (top,mid and transfer case skid plates) that iv been running for awhile now. Really digging the BAMF bolt on sliders. My question is.... will the bamf rock sliders work with my skid plates that i already have? will i need to cut some of my skid plates off? (really hoping i wouldn't have too) or will it fit with just solid bolt ons. if you got pictures of both, please post! it would help alot. thanks guys!

 

Do the skid plates cover the frame? If not I don't see how they'd interfere with the bolt on sliders.

 

I have BAMF bolt-ons and full Mobtown skids - so not exactly the same but the sliders mount well aft of the crossmember that is bolted on for the skids. You should be fine.

 

they mount below the frame if that make sense. Im just worried bc it looks like the bolt on sliders from bamf utilizes the lower side of the frame. And my last to skid plates are bolted from the bottom of the frame.

 

really? ok thats good news. bc i was worried about the slides mounts after the lower cross member. i just hope some one that has that combo can confirm with me. for a peace of mind before i pull the trigger.

 

Here are some pics of how they bolt down the driver side frame rail. Bamf dcsb bolt on with kickout. Do any of your skids bolt or lay where the slider mounts?

 

Hmmm - my BAMF skids don't mount the same - they must have changed the mounting pattern. Now I'm not too sure they would clear skids

Nothing a little couldn't take care of though..

 

ohh damn thanks for that pics man! but i might have an issue on the cross member side (tranny mount) bc my mid skid goes under it and over. it covers the bolt mount from the cross member

 

yea i might have to cut that first lip on the slider (the lip that bolts on to the cross member) for it to mount properly with my skids

 

Just install the slider and drill a hole for the skid to mount you shouldn't have to cut anything.

 

You can’t just overlay the skid or slider and have the bolt pass through both?

I'd cut the skids before the slider but I agree that you should be fine just drilling a hole to mount the skid over the slider.
