I actually use piano wire. Baling wire is too thick to fit through the holes in the plates, usually. And a gummy bear lasts months. You just clean the dead mouse out, slap some fresh peanut butter on the bear, and reset the trap. So it's only time consuming once, really.

Can relate. It sucks, I had a shitty goatee in high school and I would rather that than have to be clean shaven all the time. I occasionally rock the stash tho.

Well, went and saw it. He got it from his neighbor whom was going to trade it in but was offered nothing for it. He doesn't know Toyota's he's a Ford and Volvo guy. There is at least 1 hole in the frame above above the least spring hangar passenger side. Passenger front floor felt a little damp. It started once for a split second and it was getting fuel, he pumped it and probably flooded it. He ain't going to move much on the price. There was a weird buzzing sound from the cabin. Rear defrost lines are rotted away.

Look at the corrosion on the throttle body... the frame looks toast.. I’d walk away fast. Better deals out there. What exactly are you looking for anyway? A trail beater? Or daily beater? Or a platform to mod past the point of resale/reliability?

Maybe look for one with a rough body, but solid frame

In a normal house, I'd agree. But when you are compulsively clean, it's harder to think that. I notice and clean specs of dirt on the floor in the basement and clean the house top to bottom every Saturday. I'm sure I would have found droppings somewhere by now. Or they would have gotten into food.

Definitely find yourself a solid frame but big body scars that’ll be the best deal by far. It’s a double win if it’s front or rear bumper damage Because then it’s just an excuse for some trail armor!

Don’t be afraid of a smashed front clip they make fiberglass for all of that

I wouldn't want fiberglass on a trail rig. can't bend it back after bouncing off a tree or rock. A dent is better than shredded glass

Fiberglass is stronger than everyone gives it credit for if it’s made properly it can be just as resilient as the sheet metal on our cars. It’s also really easy to repair I can snap a surfboard in half and make the repair unnoticeable in 6 hours

Bend it back??! Dents are memories. If you pull them out it’s a deleted story! Or at least that’s what I tell myself for my laziness. I still can’t get myself to put the basketball behind the bedside and pop all the dents out.

It way easier to fix. But it’s not very shock resistant unless you use G flex. It does tend to crack and shatter. Big impacts will deflect it enough to put stress cracks in the glass and blow the paint off the damage. The sheet metal tends to dent and not lose paint.
