How do you step out of your driver seat?

Been retired 4 years now. Glad to be out. It's not the same job as it used to be.

 

Damn first world problems.

 

The body want to naturally get the head and big toe aligned with your butthole, so it’s all on

this whole forum is for first world problems.

 

Just go get castrated problem solved. Seriously, don't do that.

 

I step out. I'm 6'4" so it's a comfy in/out. Too bad the headroom sucks.

 

You have to think outside the box. I keep a long pole down by my door sill and pole vault in and out... Easy peasy

 

@bacon_st I understand your frustration. I know your a fan of @mesojdm 's build and he added a grab handle in that a pillar. I believe he used a strap and only the one threaded bolt hole in that pillar.

I'm concerned about seat fabric wear, I slide in and out and after 2 years A LOT of wear is showing on part that crunches down when I slide in/out. This is bullshit, will Toyota replace seat when I wear a hole in it?

 

What happens when you forget to remove it before you close the door?

 

No, Toyota will only replace rusted seats.

Actually added handle to the rear Over head(by my ceiling rack). But I plan on doing the same to the front drivers side A pillar

I think, the side steps are at an awkward height. If you try to use the side step you still have to hop or slide make some type of gymnastic maneuver to finish getting in or out of the truck. I like how Blue Taco looks with these factory side steps but I am wondering if I could lower them about 15/16".
