Hello everyone-
For sale is my Fold a cover G4 Elite hard tri fold tonneau cover. It has been installed on my truck since early January 2017. To be clear, it is installed on a 2017 Doublecab OR SHORT 5ft BED.

To me, this is absolutely the best tonneau on the market. When I bought it I did tons of research and ultimately what set the the Elite G4 apart from other tonneaus was the fact that is able to be opened AND locked from both the cab-side and tailgate-side of the bed. I believe that there is only one other tonneau on the market that also has that feature. Furthermore, this is a hard tri-fold style tonneau, which was another stipulation of mine in the buying process - SECURITY. Its components are also made with all stainless & aluminum..... Although all of this is true....I have decided to sell it because I plan on getting a LEER or ARE bed cap instead to better suit my bed's purposes. The tonneau is in great shape and I never got around to installing the tailgate seal stripping as seen pictured below alongside the original installation guide and so it will be included in the sale.
I bought it brand new and ended up paying around $820 including taxes.
Im looking to sell it for $600 to be put toward a new bed cap purchase.
SERIOUS BUYERS only please. I used loctite to install it, so I will uninstall it once sale has been made.
Prefer to sell via local pickup/meetup, however I could potentially be willing to ship it as long as buyer pays for all shipping costs. (west coast shipping is ~$160 UPS ground)

How water tight is it?

 

Honestly never really did a full analysis of the water tightness because it was never a major concern of mine...Its always seemed pretty tight to me. I can say that I've never noticed any significant amounts of water though. One time when we got 20inches of snow i noticed snow got in the tailgate, but I attribute that to never have putting in the tailgate seal stripping in.
