I installed all my stuff with the help of a South Texas Tacomas member here in San Antonio (NW side). He's got every tool imaginable and is super knowledgeable. If you guys are interested, let me know. You probably know him, he's got a lifted gray tacoma with a snorkel.

And why is this member of STT not posting on here? I have joined the group via fb trying to push some interest.

Not sure, but whenever i went to some of the meets, alot of the guys on there really dislike TW for some reason.. :notsure:

One of the admins told me he avoids it like the plague because theres a lot of hate that goes on, on here but it seems like to me you just have to have thicker skin and just ignore the haters:luvya:

Theres too many really good folks on here to avoid it just because of a few bad apples, just my opinion though

Yep, he wheels his truck hard too. Always breaking and fixing something.

Do you guys hit any mud holes or trails around town? Got any overland trips planned?

I haven't hit any personally, but I know some of the guys in the group have and do occasionally. Most of them only post on Facebook though, so you might have to jump on there to figure out when/where they're going

Ya a member of STT mentioned the same thing, I can see value in both sites but enjoy TW over fb, but again it’s just an opinion. I have seen some posts out there that are outside of our regional area and I just look, but rarely comment to them. I will keep working with both groups so we can have fun accordingly.

I just laugh and move on personally. There are keyboard warriors everywhere nowadays.

    Def not a mall crawler.

The one thing that some of the SA crew does that I’m not a fan of. Wheel on private property.
Maybe things are different in Texas, idk. Back home you get ticketed, charges againat you and possible vehicle impoundment.

Yeah i agree, i just try to avoid the keyboard warriors. I dont understand that shit personally, its not for me..

Im also not a fan of that, if its not your property or you dont have permission to be there, you should be respectful and stay off of it. Texas isnt like most states in that it has hardly any public property, im not a fan of mudholes and not a fan of wheeling where you know you shouldnt be (ie private property). I wish more people were better about that, but unfortunately some people will go wherever they can until its closed off. Id rather not go somewhere than do it trespassing because i know if someone went and tore up my land id be pissed..
