I've learned in my very short time of home ownership, that Lowe's is like Walmart. I'm beginning to hate going there. You can never find an associate when you need it and it's incredibly difficult to leave there without spending $100+
Shit! Just last night I went to return my dishwasher hookups because I bought the wrong size lines.
So I get new ones, then I remember I need a couple GFCI outlets in the kitchen.
Gotsta have cover plates for them shits too!
Oh! I need wire nuts too!
Oh! I need some thread tape. Because the other 3 rolls are God only knows where in the old house.
Might as well get myself a second crescent wrench to hook up the gas line for the stove.
Sure, I'll take a crow bar for when I replace the deck's stair runners.
Hmm, this 15" pry bar/nail puller looks handy as fuck.

If I start a family, we wouldn't stay long at this place. Layout is a little funky with the one massive room upstairs and only one bath.

 

If it was JUST paint.... Sandy loved my house when we were dating. Then I said "I do".

My place has a lot of potential for sure. Need to figure out a better location for a second bath and laundry.
Tempting to put washer/dryer in the basement, but hate to walk outside every time I need to switch loads and etc. First world probs

 

Get a wife....Decisions like that will no longer be a concern of yours. All you'll need to worry about is scheduling contractors and paying for shit....

Yea, you're gonna say that's all a pipe dream. No, it's not. I know more couples that operate like that and are INCREDIBLY happy than couples that throw everything in one lump sum.

These are also reasons I'm still not married. I won't settle. Passed up many good wimminz over my 30 years, but why make myself less than elated in a relationship? Yes, I'd be happy with those ladies of the past, but there would be limitations and stipulations. Nah, bruh, ain't fer me!
