Hey all, new guy here. This is my 2002 TRD I inherited from my dad with 39,624 miles.

my 95 just rolled over 184k this morning it was a daily since new

 

I've got a 2002 black ext cab 3.4L trd manual with 68k I am the third owner and just got it a week ago! Cannot wait to start building her up!! (First thing i will do is get rid of the rims and grill)

 

Just got a newer truck to replace my red 2000 SR5 4x4. It's a silver 2004 Tacoma SR5 4x4 extended cab with 35,000 miles on it. It has the V6 automatic. It's a pretty clean truck. Not that crazy about the red dash lights so far, may take some getting used to. I blacked out below the shadow line on the cab to clean up the lines a bit, I didn't like the look of the spotwelds on the pinchweld when the light would hit it. I decided to put the red 2000 on ebay this week, should make someone a nice truck for years to come.

Just rolled over 55k on mine. Put about 31k on her in the 1.5 years I've had her. Moved only a few miles from work a couple months ago so I'm starting to keep the miles off compared to before.

 

68,000 km on my 2000 Toyota Tacoma trd, just bought it last week

 

Mine just hit 87k miles yesterday... that's 20k miles in the 13 months I've had it.

 

I feel your pain...my 04 had 24,500 miles when I bought it last year and in 12 months I put 25k on her...same miles in one year that she got in her first 14 years lol

Sweeeet! I remember when I went to look at the '01's after I bought my '00, and I was glad to have the green lights rather than red. I'm sure you'll get used to them though. Or mode it to put green back in!

Bought mine at 130k

 

Bought my 2004 21 Oct 2017 with 49,045 miles on it. Currently has 49,510 miles

 

Got 360k on mine, think that’s pretty good!

 

Just picked up a 96 2wd with 117k on it!
Not the lowest by far but I’m very pleased.

 

Inherited my dad's old 2004 Tacoma, 2wd, 4 cylinder, reg cab stripper. He gave it to me with around 170k on it in February 2016, it now has 184k on it. Its kind of funny, my other car is a 1992 Lexus SC300, 5 speed, with 102k on it, mint condition. I actually like driving the truck better, at least around town. The seat is more comfortable, as you sit more upright, the view out is better since you sit higher, clutch is way easier.

On the open road the Lexus is way nicer, ride is more settled, WAY quieter, once you get used to the ass on the ground seating, legs and arms straight out style, the seat is maybe a bit more comfortable. Plus it has cruise control and a better stereo. Way better handling/brakes/way more power as well.

 

putting that many miles on it, dang. You go through an oil change every 5-7,000 miles I assume? or sooner?

 

Update: bought my 03' with 73,000 in march of this year, now its at 83,000mi as of today. so many miles, so quick

 

Still on dino oil so yeah, I do every 5k. Switching to synthetic though next oil change so I can push it longer.

Few months ago I moved about 5 miles from work so I've cut down on the daily mileage quite a bit, thankfully.

 

ok we already know who has the lowest mileage 1st gen, someone with 539 in odometer that is top 1.

Now wonder if anyone with less than 100K had changed timing belt and water pump ? I think i still have the original and by time I get 100K miles will be end of 2020.... bam! 18 years with original T belt? I know is risky but 1,000 plus to get it done is not on my budget.

Had you changed yours ! ? By miles or just time?
