I saw [that picture] in this screen cap of a Honda bike service manual. I showed this one to my friend and shouted "IT EVEN HAS THE RING GOD DAMMIT" and he was absolutely gone, went to space he was laughing so hard.

I was planning on getting Fox 2.0s on my truck anyways, I wonder if this means they will make 2.0 coilovers for the Tacoma w/ adjustable damping.

I'd be fine with the manual adjustment, I just think it's kinda strange that I can get adjustable rear 2.0's but no adjustment in the front where it arguably matters more.

 

A 2.0 is a 2.0 at the end of the day. They won’t make a 2.0 coilover with a reservoir or adjustment simply because you’d get a 2.5” body shock at that point anyways. Which does have the DSC option (adjustment).

 

Yeah, true. I'm just sort of set on the 2.0s after talking to the Fox rep at overland expo. He said that for my purposes (4x2 mostly street but weekend warrior) the aluminum body shocks would stay cooler, ride better, and generally fit my use cycle better.

 

Make sure to take enough lube.

There's a few I see around all the time. here in Tempe there's this lifted blue 3rd gen with a bro grill & what appear to be scs f5s. Not sure if it rings a bell. Lol there's also a lifted 2nd gen, silver has bumpers & sliders I think, plus wheels. Haven't got a good look. But those are the two that I think might be on here
