@beertimecontinuum My shipment shows 2 packages coming to me. Says weight is 65lbs, then total shipment weight is 87lbs. One must be the sliders, other is probably the gussets n whatnot.

^^^They're so cute at this age.....^^^^^

Remember, my wife bought MY truck. You get what you give....

Courts don't recognize "yours, mine, and ours"....Once "I do", the "this is mine" shit flies out the window. You can claim separation of property, but when push comes to shove, those sort of agreements aren't worth the paper they're written on.

You won't find a happier married couple than Sandy and me. She has as much say in what we do as I do, and vice versa.

And she does like to hunt/camp/wheel/fish/same music as me/get's along with my friends/etc. we also have our different interest's. Life SUCKS if you're both carbon copies. (ie, old cliche' "Variety is the spice of life")

If you have a marriage where there is a division of property, you don't have a marriage. You have an eminent failure.

My FIRST marriage taught me a few things, not least of which is it takes TWO people committed to making it work. Round one, I WAS committed, someone else wasn't. Been on that shitty end of the stick. Trick is to find someone who isn't all about herself. I got lucky this time. Sandy went through that herself in her previous marriage. I'd like to think she got lucky too.

    YMMV.

But srrrsly, been there. Sold my Blazer for my 1st wife. She also picked this junk ass house I still live in. Learned a lot. Try to teach Amy every chance I get (mostly by doing what I want when I want lol). We do have separate monies but since she doesn't work any more it's all my/our monies.

My lawyer explained it to me in simple terms....

    "Tell that to the judge".

I do what I want. Sandy doesn't agree with it all. But she knows I won't do anything TOO stupid.... She works. (Makes pretty damn good money too) We each have bills we're responsible for. We each have our own money, but when push comes to shove, it's all "our" money/property.

The judge explained that to me.....in great detail.

Then I got to pay the lawyers out of "my money".

Main thing, as you no doubt know, you have to have someone you can trust, and who cares about your happiness. THOSE are the most important things. Money comes and goes....mostly goes....

Of all the last few posts, this is the best part of them all:
I'm definitely not here for a relationship or its advice.

I'll get relationship advice from you guys, in person, in the woods, around a fire or on the CB, after we've had a few beverages.

Cereal, dough. It will take time to get them on.

Moving is priority #1. Put it off far too long. I own the house, should be "living" in it by now.
Painting the sliders, or anything, won't happen when it's humid and temps are really low. Shit just doesn't dry and cure right.
Everett is going to AOP this weekend anyway. I'm on his time when it comes to weld. He's a good dude and I won't put him in a bind just because I want them welded.
