You guys have any suggestions on rust removal for my wheel hubs? (products or methods to use) I have some new rims without center caps id like to put soon and id rather not have rust showing.

 

rust solvent and a wire brush on a drill....

then hit it w/ some rust reversal paint

 

For the front, those dust caps just pop off. Mine were clean though and I have an 05. On the rear I just wiped the center down and hit them with some black paint

Naval jelly works well. Let it sit a while and wire brush or wheel on a drill

 

Yes...you wanna get some trips in?! I usually shift over to hunting mode once the fall hits, but during the spring/summer I am out on my kayak a couple of times a week. Usually freshwater because that's what's close.

Yeah probably gonna replace with shorter thread or grind down. The middle bars have a few that fit the right height not sure why mine were so long I probably got the wrong size or didn't read the thread properly.
