How easy is it to replace the blower motor on an 07 Tacoma? I hate to have to pay to have something that can be done outside of the dealership.

    3 screws + one connector = 10 - 15 minutes :)

Blower is under the dash/ glove comparetment. simply
    1. Move passenger sit all way back so you have more room
    2. Look under the dash you will see a cable and electric motor (size of the fist) thats your blower.
3 Blower is attached by 3 screwes and have plastic connector going toward the driver side.
    4. Unplug the connector,
    5. Unclip wires from the blower (attached by plastic thingys.)
    6. Unscrew 3 silver screws that are on the outer plastic housing of the blower (dont touch screwes that are painted )
    7. if blower does not fall out you will need to gently grab it wit hboth hands and wiggle out.
    Trust me very easy.
If you are not sure remove the glove box and in cabin filter to see blower inside :)
I take my blower out everytime I change my in cabin filter to clean it up.

Does anyone know what size hex bolt those are that are holding that motor in place? Can't seem to find anything in what I have to remove and replace the motor.
