Seems like a lot of money for a buffer tube.

 

I think putting a recoil buffer on a .308 is like going to a drag race and wearing earplugs.

 

Given it's an AR, you expect him to run around searching for his bolt after each trigger pull?

 

Could just abandon the .308 all together and go for a Beowulf instead. Because caliber size... and science.

Get a jp silent capture buffer if you want to throw around moneys

 

He does and I got one due to him, not sure if his is on his .308 though.

 

Yes i have two. I like them, they are quite and i think make the cycling feel smoother

 

Are you running one on your 458?

 

Yup the 223 and the 458, wish i could run one with the law tactical folder but you cant. And i plan on running one in the 6.5 creedmoor

 

It would be worth it. Trust me.

Have you looked at ammoseek.com? That's where I found Mid America Munitions. Ordered my first 250 rounds of bulk 150gr that arrived today.


Anyone seen or used this vent system? First time I've heard of this method so it makes me wonder if it's just gimmicky/solution looking for a problem. I'm tempted to disassemble the milspec forward assist to see if you can modify it to act the same way.

Starting down a new road... my very first build has begun.

 

I have these in almost all my rifles. They are amazing

 

The only thing i would recommend is just get the single spring kit. You should not need the other springs, i got the extra springs and found that the one that comes installed is perfect for both calibers.
