Note to self: Stay away from Toyota of Bowie.

Good thing Bayside is 10 min from home.

Yeah. This whole process has been a mess. In hindsight, I wish I shopped around more for a dealer to do the swap. As I'm doubting the quality of the mechanical work, if the electrical is this bad.

Hey @Mobtown Offroad, @68dave I’m going to look at a 3rd gen T4R tomorrow with my buddy. Anything i should look for other than frame rot, LBJ condition, water pump and timing belt service record, noises, nocks, hesitations, blue oil smoke, white coolant smoke etc?

Yep! Driving up early saturday morning and I'll camp that night. I booked site 106 for both nights though because @Lots2Learn58 will be joining me and I'm not sure if he'll be camping Friday night or not. For $10 figured it was worth it. I'm really excited to get back out there and hopefully not freeze my ass off.

Check the frame at the rear lower control arm mounts stick your finger in the rectangular holes and feel for flakes inside the frame rail especially if the frame is coated with undercoat of some type ,balljoint you won't really be able to tell unless you jack up vehicle grease leaking isn't a sure sign also make sure gas gauge works these have problems that are a nightmare to track down and fix mine does not work and I replaced sending unit and circuit board

That's a pretty big jump in size. That's why I like the 255s so much because they're so tall, but not so wide to kill MPG.
