    alpine head unit, removed secondary air filter, 18" XD Rockstars. 285/60/R18, 3" OME 884/AAL OME shocks all around.
    i just put a hitch on and i'm trying to hook up the light harness does anyone know which wires go together? its not the plug in one its the one that you need to splice

    True, like said above, in the long run you will be much better off. It will be much easier as well with the plug and play, and its a cheap fix.

    The only think I would suggest is trace the wires back from your tail light bulbs and follow the harness until you get down under the bed.

    Before you start spicing make sure you have the extra module that converts from 5 wires on the truck to four wires on the trailer plug. As for which wires you need a drawing or someone who has one to answer that.
