I would buy a set of BAMF skids at that price if they were available. No hesitation.

 

I would never do free shipping again with that deep of a discount.

You could pull it off. 30 people wouldn't be unrealistic. Hard part would be just getting them to wait for it. Seems like impatience for fabricators is a thing on TW

Granted, most those people have never welded a thing in their life so they really have no idea how much work it takes. I think its amazing you can order a bumper and get it in a few weeks. Few months? Sure no problem.

Knowing how you weld..they wouldn't really be much of skids...

 

Most likely around $650 plus freight for 30 orders. That would be from the bumper to the transfer case is two pieces. 100% 1/4" steel I won't build 3/16th or aluminium skids as we all know they don't hold up.

Well I welded my current skids...and they skid over things sooooooo

For whatever reason though halfway through Moab when the truck is cold and I put it in reverse at idle the t case taps the end of the skid a bit and makes a noise. Minor details haha

Damn. Almost makes me wish I didn't already have my skids, though I'm pretty happy with their beefiness.

 

Everyone was like your motor mounts are #fucked if they're letting that much movement.

Even if they bent slightly (it was a pretty tight fit when they went in after welding )I'm glad I wanted the light weight of the mostly 3/16th.

First good snow here and I took a trip to the tire store at lunch.

They sell coopers but said they can't get the st max in 315/75 r16. I need to confirm it doesn't come in that size but they do have the AT3s and the price is good. Might be a get AT3's now and then once I figure out where I am next year, I can get a better set of summer tires.

I am torn on what to do but I need to make a decision soon.

 

You can get the maxx's in 315s..several people on here have them. Look to be 250ish a pop

We are supposed to get over a foot tonight..yay haha drive to work tomorrow will suck.

Also id go for the hancook ATM over the AT3 if you want a tire like that. My dad has them and they are very nice. Super quite and seem to have held up great.
