Hello everyone, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Tony and I'm a Designer / Fabricator.

I've been driving Toyotas most of my adult life and in the last year replaced my old Tunda with a Tacoma. I started OffRoading and began to build stuff using my knowledge of metal fabrication, welding and design.

The first thing I made was a set of sliders because I was deathly afraid of bashing in my rocker panel!
Some pictures mid fabrication and test fit.

    IMG_20170827_074233508.jpg IMG_20170827_160934910.jpg

My next endeavor was a set of bed bars to keep my hilift jack secure and get my spare tire out from under my truck. I also thought to mount my CB antenna to it.

    IMG_20171008_142439224_HDR (1).jpg

Along the way some people saw what I had made and asked if I could make similar stuff for them. Now we build quality, minimal frill, offroad accessories to help YOU have fun offroading with us.

I've since built bed bars similar to my own but with customizations (different height and high lift mounting locations, different CB antenna locations etc.)

Here is a picture of the ones I built for @steele-taco.

    3rd gen high rise - side highlift.jpg

Initially he wanted his flush with the bed rails. I was able to use my abilities as a designer to show him his ideas before fabricating and worked with him to come up with a solution that suited his needs perfectly.

I'm developing more products and adding variants of my sliders and bed racks currently.

If you have any questions feel free to post them here or shoot me a PM. You can also visit my site @ Kore-4x4.com or by clicking the image in my signature.

I'm looking forward to having the opportunity to build some cool stuff for everyone!

    -Tony

    UPDATED with finished product images.

I touched briefly about being able to custom design products and I wanted to expand on this and explain in a little more detail.

Recently a customer saw my bed racks and wanted to have them modified to fit a long bed truck, he also wanted them taller to accommodate kayaks.

In a very short timeframe, less than an hour, I was able to show him a conceptual design.

From there we were able to tweak the design even further to come up with exactly what he wanted.

I'm happy to work with you to modify any of our existing products or come up with something completely new to suit your needs. I can show you your ideas in 3D, on your truck and take all guesswork out of the process. You will be able to SEE and KNOW that what you are getting is exactly what you want.

I love being able to interact with customers and involve them in the design of their products. I take great pride in being able to see something from go from just an idea to finished product on someones truck.

    UPDATE:

Here is the finished product created for @MHARMS. From inception to completion less than a week!

I was at mobtowns get together at AOAA, I made the wicked hot salsa and gave away a bed bar in the raffle. Were you there?

FYI your company name cannot include "engineering" unless you are a registered Professional Engineer. Since you describe yourself as a fabricator/designer im guessing you dont hold an engineering license.

"(d) In section 1303(c)(2)(iii) of the BCL, section 5303(c)(2)(iii) of the NPCL and 54 Pa.C.S. § 311(f)(2) it is provided that a name may not contain the words ‘‘engineer’’ or ‘‘engineering’’ or ‘‘surveyor’’ or ‘‘surveying’’ or another word implying a form of the practice of engineering or surveying as defined in the Professional Engineers Registration Law (63 P. S. § § 148—158), unless at least one of the incorporators of a proposed corporation or one of the directors of the existing corporation or one of the parties to the registration has been properly registered with the State Registration Board for Professional Engineers in the practice of engineering or surveying and a certificate from the Board to that effect there is submitted to the Department."

I looked at your catalog. Very Nice. What is the weight capacity for the Bed Bars & Cargo Carrier? Is it rated for a RTT. RTT 250 LBS + me, the missus and the dog (425 Lbs, after a night of beer drinking)

The bed bars are all made from 1 1/2"x1 1/2"x1/8" square tubing and are full penetration welded at all seams. A single bed bar will handle in excess of a #425 point load.

The RTT rack design has 4 cross bars, 4 transverse bars at the top and an additional bar at each bedside for a step. The whole assembly is bolted to the stock tacoma rail system via supplied 3/8" grade 8 hardware. The weight of the rack does not bear on the bed rail system however, bearing plates sit on the bed sides. The bolts are there into the rail system just to ensure nothing slides front to back.

I think I'm going to setup a torture test to demonstrate just how tough they are!

He has built bed bars, basket for my spare tire and plate on driver side for trek emergency treads. The left side( passenger) holds the 60" hi Lift. I was able to have him add 2 spots on the rear for a set of pods. Then add a spot for a firestik antenna. Responds quickly and always willing to take in input. Awesome customer support.

Fruits of the weekends labor, RTT bed rack. All of 1 1/2x1 1/2x1/8 square tubing. This is for a long bed, so bars are 60" long and 20.5 inches tall.

I'm setting up a torture test in the next week or so. I'll be suspending weights under a bed bar and lifting it from the ends with a forklift, gradually adding weight to see what these bad boys can handle. Something similar to the high lift jack test for rock sliders. I'll have the video posted for everyone to see, stay tuned!

Will you be doing any round tube sliders? And will you get into skid plates, I would be interested in aluminum?
