No sir. At the moment I am trying to clear the fault code but it will not clear. Can I tune 1.02B with the check engine light on. I am immobile at the moment.

 

yes you can flash to any file or even stock.



if any of you other guys with 04B10 have this issue please let me know ASAP.

I am considering purchasing a MT ecu and doing some test flashing to see if these can all be updated to 04B12 which just takes care of everything.

 

The average amount of vehicles that have a manual are around one percent these days.....
So yes, there are less of us.
But, OV tune will have this handled.....this tune will blow your mind.

 

I am not trying to start a shit storm here. I am confident Matt can take care of it.

 

04B10 is a manual ECU?

ETA; sorry guys, saw 10/15(04B10) and freaked a little. Been trying to decide whether to sell the truck or try the tune.

BUT - the flash would still have to identify as the original your truck came with ( 04B10, 04B11) because M/T owners have not had any TSBs that involve flashing.

 

Ok trusty 1.02B got me off the side of the road, all good to go. Going to try the revised 1.03A 10A and keep my fingers crossed

5% of our customers at Manual
4.9% of our manual customers have 04B12
0.1% of our customers have manual 04B10

@OVTune , I’m on 1.01b and everything is fine again. As far as I’m concerned, the rest of the M/T guys shouldn’t be held up because of 04B10. We know 1.03 works on 04B12 trucks. I can wait till u get it sorted out.

 

Agree! Back to 1.02B, I dont mind waiting for for the other M/T guys being taken care of.

Well I guess this makes sense, but as to why 04B10 and not others.. no clue:


@OVTune , if there isn't a way around this for 04B10 I'd go for removing as much delay as possible and not messing with how much throttle opening we get in relation to pedal input -in other words, no pedal commander kinda thing. Linear without delay is the grail (for me anyway).

BTW, the ECM's reaction to any of these codes is limp mode -which we saw last night.
