Lowest mileage 2nd gens

07 with 38,900

 

Bought my 2013 with 25k miles on it February. Now I'm at 35k, but that includes several trips to Washington from California when we moved.

 

Wow

 

It took about a year for me to put that a little less than that on my 2010! How...?

 

Just got 45k on my 2013 this week.

 

Just rolled over 17k on my 15. Now that I moved out of town that should go up a little quicker.

 

My 07 has 101k miles on it. That's not really low, but it's about 50k less than the average ten year old truck.

 

2015 with 27,600 miles.

 

2008 ,original owner ,102564 miles . Some people think my truck is new !

 

2006 reg cab 2wd original owner 37825miles

 

2006, just turned 68k miles.

 

09 5-lug 54k

 

my 2008 had 56,000 last year when I sold it

 

27,000 on my 2013 2wd 4cl. reg. cab

2009 double cab prerunner v6 trd sport. Bought new, just turned 67k.

 

I'm here to rain on the parade. I would not be interested in buying a low milage vehicle, that usually just sits and is not driven semi regularly, because the chances of the vehicle having "lot rot" are very high. The moment I start driving the vehicle regularly, the water pump seals fail.

So in all truth, a low mileage vehicle is nothing to be impressed by.

Like I said. Rain on parade. Lol.

 

And how! I had an aunt with a 15 yr. old vehicle that barely had 15K on it. It sat outside unused most of the time. The body was flawless. Everyone wanted the thing as it was a sought after muscle car. The one who got it had nothing but leaks from everywhere, burned oil like it was going out of style, and every piece of rubber molding was rotten. No thank you.

 

2007, bought in 2011 with 60K, now at 85,600. I thought that was low until I saw where some of you guys are!

 

You know what it is. Lack of lubrication on vital seals while they are not running makes them dry rot. Over time that rot causes havoc on them and the fluids they are containing from leaking out are rushing out quicker than a runaway bride. Next thing you know that beautiful 1995 vehicle with less than 20,000 miles on it requires more work than a daily driver with over 150,000 on the clock.
