Sir you are on the wrong forum. Content will be the first emotion lost here. Next thing you know you are heading to buy milk and end up with LED bulbs. It's a freaking disease. You will be planning family trips that coincidentally are next door to a muffler shop. And it just gets worse. The closest thing to an anniversary gift will be a rebate card from BFGoodrich.

Hahahaha that is a valid point, it should have read content for the time being! I’ve had 2 82 yotas that we’re both locked and lifted and a lifted Jeep that wasn’t quite as cool, I know the feeling of content will subside after a few days of getting new wheels and tires however with buying a house back in June and having an 8 year old step son the budget for truck parts isn’t what I’d like it to be. I miss the days where I could survive on ramen for weeks while every extra penny went to my rig hahaha

measured three times before I drilled... hardest part for me was the required herculean forearms for the pop rivets... all and all very easy install if you have amazing fore arms.

Not to mention using a GOOD rivet gun. When I did mine a year ago the cheap rivet gun hung up on both sides on the upside down rivets. Was going to buy a good gun but figured my old cheapo should work. That made the job twice as long to complete. But still worth it. Next to Clazzios this was the best mod I made. Oh and it helps to use drill stops to prevent drilling too deep.

Really sweet pics! Looks like a great day. Did you walk away from your truck in the river to get that sick time exposure or did you drop a friend off on shore?

My understanding is that the weather app works off the HD Radio, not the GPS, so it might just be that Coronado is where the closest HD weather station is.

Whoot First Mods, all be it small and cheap. First off.....Thank you JoeCOVA for the OEM OR Leather Shift knob. now my Auto shifter matches the steering wheel. Plastic hunk gone. Then recvd our Riura tempered glass stereo shield. Also recvd our Comfy Consoles Neoprene cover , which fits like a glove and feels looks great. Finally swapped interior bulbs for LEDs.

Next up installing OEM style seat heaters. My lower console on the SR5 with Sonar has two blanks that are perfect for them.

Well, the DRL is the light that sits at the edge of the headlights which looks like an L.
The halo rings I have go around the low beam projector, and sit's in front of it.
You make a tiny hole with a safety pin on the housing, and use fishing line to secure it around the projector., run the wires etc.
Its circumference is bigger than that of the projector lens so it doesn't make much contact.
The wires then connect to the DRL wire as well as the turn signal wire.
It's a switchback halo, meaning it will be white when the DRL is ON, and will blink Amber when the turn signal is ON.
I haven't done or seen any of the steps mentioned above. I only know from friends who did it.
Of-course, it goes without mentioning that you need to open up your headlights.
I thought I'd put it on when I blacken the chrome from my headlight, but after reading here, I'd rather pay somebody $$ to do it for me as I surely would mess it up.

How long did the install take you? I'm not well versed at all in areas such as that would you say it can be figured out or does one truly need to know what they are doing?

So the weirdest thing happened to me today.
I took my truck in for the 15K service, waited while they did the work, and got it back before 9AM, and I drove to work.
After I got out of my truck at the parking structure, and close my door, and touch the part of the handle to lock my truck, it gave me a loooong beep.
That happens sometimes when you forget your key inside the truck. But mine was in my pants pocket.
It could also beeeep when you turn off the truck w/o putting the shift-er to park. I had done so.
And when you forget to turn off your headlights. Which weren't ON.
And I looked for a problem feeling confused.
No matter how many times I re-open the door and close it (all other doors were closed shut and secure), and try to lock it, it won't and would just beeeep.
After so many beeeeps, I sighed and I went inside to work.
I come back during my lunch break to get something from my truck, and I noticed that my windows/windshield had frost, like when you forget to turn off your A/C or air.
Surely enough, when I grabbed the handle and looked inside, the fan of the AC was ON, but AC was off. I positively had my Air Con going ON when I was driving to work. I even turned it up.
I never had to turn off my AC before when I shut down my truck by pressing the Start/Stop button, it would shutdown everything. At-least that's how it behaved all throughout this past year.
So I turn off my fan, and was able to lock my door. I thought that was weird, but I got back to work.
I come back home tonight after work, and I experimented leaving the A/C ON when I shut down my truck, and to my surprise it remains ON. Well, the AC light turned off, but the fans were still blowing air .
That had never happened to me before., and my truck would only be completely off if I turn the knob all the way to OFF myself.
Has this happened to anyone before? Monday, I plan to take my truck back in and ask them what the heck.

That’s a sweet rig! Is that the 6112/5160 kit? I didn’t realize snugtop had Windoors too. I have to add them to my list. I was looking at the ARE and Leer tops.

Snugtop has a ton of options, including vented windoors (with a slider in the middle and a screen). Had one on my 2nd Gen, loved it.
