That’s what I was thinking. Considering we do the same style of wheeling curious to how it holds up.

I'll also be running this set up. Would there be any reason to go with fox over icon coilovers?

I would just look into who to contact to rebuild them and go from there. I know Ski and CT rebuilds foxes I believe where Icon may have to be sent off. So that would be a big thing for me. As for performance I personally don't think I would be able to tell the difference based on what I do. They would be significantly better over my setup. Unfortunately nickels and dimes right. But the rebuilding piece would be huge for me. Having someone extremely close where I can drop them off and rebuilt would be nice. @Joe23 can you confirm that Ski rebuilds them.

Front bumper, rear bumper winch and prinsu rack installed tomorrow. Rock sliders and I'll be ready for the trails haha. Do we have any sites that aren't so north. Maybe an hour, hour and a half of Waterloo?

Orillia has the swift rapid trails. It has some fun stuff like a scary hill climb and some rocks. It's pretty fun for a short day trip.

Ski rebuilds icon for sure as well as Kings.

He hasn't had to rebuild fox yet so hasn't done it. But should be able to get the parts and do it.

But for what it's worth. Fox are much better off road than icon is. And I hear they stand up to our climate better.
Fox also uses the best material for their shocks out of the top three. I'm not busy saying this cause I have fox. I did a lot of research and talked to both headstrong off road. And ski for at least 30min about what to go with.

I been researching replacing stock setup with King but I'm open to ideas if anyone wants to chime in here. I have a 4inch lift and wanted to remove the spacer and just get a longer coilover. Would you guys keep the spacer?

No! Ditch the spacer. It affects the ride and up travel (depending on your shock setup). Even if you got longer billies or anything it would be an improvement over the spacer (from what I have researched)

@Joe23 has more knowledge on good coilovers as he is running foxes and I know he researched the shit out of it. I am running old man emu stuff.

Do you have a drop bracket lift with a 4 inch lift?

Thanks for all the info. What did you end up getting up front? I've been reading that the extended travel coilevers recommend a uniball uca to avoid premature wear.

Well if you get extended you won't have that extra travel without uniball UCA. I have the 2.5 fox extended with dual speed compression adjustment. Both front and rear. Total chaos UCA.
Even with that I'm still limited in the front as I'd need a uniball LCA to get full travel from it. Which is all in due time.

The ride on the Fox is harsh at first. But once it gets worked in its much better. Rebuilds from what I can find are about every 80-100k km if going of jumps it's more like 50k.
