How much are the Nokians, and what size are they?

What's the bolt pattern? I've actually found that FB marketplace is quickly surpassing CL as the go to place for wheels. Maybe you can find a set of 17x10 wheels and mount a set of 195/45-17 snow tires on them? What do you think?

I think he can probably source wheels pretty cheaply thru his job, lol.

True, I was just thinking if he wanted something that wasn't an older OEM wheel. I've been trying to track down a snow tire setup for my friend's WRX and it's been a challenge. FB seems to be halfway decent for looking. He's got an older WRX but it's the two years they ran the larger brake calipers, so it's more entertaining than it should be.

We don't carry Nokian (unfortunately; everybody asks for them this time of year). We're a Goodyear/Dunlop wholesaler. I can get you Dunlop Winter Sport 3D's (picture 1) for $100 per (plus your masshole taxes) or Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT (picture 2) for $136 per. Downside is that since we just wholesale you'd still have to take them someplace to have them installed, and you'd have to drive to my warehouse down in Hyde Park to pick them up.

Home already. Had a 730 start time for Fenway Spartan Sprint. It was almost too short, took 38 minutes. Hung out for a bit and now I'm back home.

Why not get hakkapeliittas if you're only running them in the winter? I thought the WR was a snow-biased year-round tire. A guy at work bought them last year and loves them.

EDIT: Just looked at their product line--they have changed it a lot since I last looked! Lots of WRs now, some appear to be dedicated winter. Not just the WR G2 and WR G3 that I knew about.

Yeah we had the Nokian WRs on her old car and they were AWESOME! The best winter tires you can buy IMO

Actually the WR's are only considered an all weather tire (not an actual winter tire) but they still have the mountain snowflake symbol for severe weather and they don't wear out right away

They make a silver that we liked (CELESTIAL SILVER METALLIC) and a grey (PREDAWN GRAY MICA) but it's too close to the color of my truck but they don't make the Camry in Cement grey. We got the red (RUBY FLARE PEARL)

I'll take some pictures and post them a little bit later, it was dark when we picked it up
