Dupli color paint matched; I sprayed mine. Turned out real nice, its all in the prep work. You can scuff the chrome surface with a scuff pad; clean it with wax and grease remover. Let dry and then spray with a gray primer. Allow that to dry for 25-30minutes then spray the paint; let that tack dry then use a good clear coat over it. Allow it to fully dry and cure for a day or two then wet-sand with 1500grit and buff to a nice shine.

The Sport models come with a color matched grill. Find one in a junk yard or being parted out.

I painted mine two years ago with duplicolor perfect match paint and clear coat and aside from a few rock chips it's holding up great. It's all in the prep work.

Started with a plastidipped center Toyota symbol then bought a MGM grille and put in a mesh insert. The old grille is under the bed in the guest bedroom in case I want to change things up sometime.

Good question. I don’t know. I’ll have to call and find out. Maybe that’s why they wanted 2 hours labor at $110/hr.

If you did order just the surround, it's still not too hard. Just a bunch of clips and screws that come undone. It'll still take maybe 30 minutes to do.

I like the gray grill from the base model, I did replace my gray surround with one that is pyrite when I got a pro grill insert, I was going to reuse the gray surround since I havent seen that combonation Im sure its out there, I also didn't feel like doing it again when I decided I'd want it color matched.

I like the chrome especially with the chrome oe badge, if I was going to get rid of the chrome I'd get the base model gray grill and black the oe emblem on a sr5 or OR, depending on the color of the truck.

image.jpgwent with a Bulletproof Fabrication Raptor style mess insert and letters. It was a pain in the ass to put together. You have to cut out the center of the stock grill and do Bondo and paint work. Still think it looks good though.

It arrived today. It’s the whole enchilada. Not sure when I’ll have the weather to install it. Hopefully it will go smoothly and I can get rid of most of the spiders that call the old one home.

ExpertTuning ABS mesh grill. About $85. Bought it as a cheap way of preserving my oem 2011 grill, saw it on the truck and liked it!
