    I'm trying to piece together a mid travel kit and seeing as the parts have been discontinued, its turning out pretty difficult. I think i'm starting to make some progress here, let me know if you've got any thoughts or input! any help is greatly appreciated.

    So Fabtech still sells the 3" spindle lift with a part number: FTS4130-7

    In my search for the UCA i've found part number: FTS4130-1

    Also the Part number FTS4130-1 comes up as the correct UCA for an 84-95 Pickup.

    Are theses UCAs interchangeable? :notsure::notsure:

    Ive also looked at these: http://www.airbagit.com/1995-2004-TOYOTA-TACOMA-Lifted-Control-Arms-p/x2-car-to95xxa.htm

    I've called and confirmed that they are in fact designed for the 5 lug tacomas. I might bite the bullet and buy a set and see if they provide more lift but i'm still hunting for some LCAs to mount new shocks. If worse comes to worst then i may just try and have someone weld up a way to mount some new shock tabs on the stock Lowers.

    Hopefully this makes sense and its not just a ramble. Let's try to get some more suspension lift options for our 5 lugs!:thumbsup:

    I hope so, id love some more travel out of my Yota. I just don't want to drop the money on a LT rig. If i can find a way to lift the front a few more inches, an axle flip will shortly follow!! :headbang:

    Total chaos makes long travel kit for 1st gen 5 lug. Doetsch tech makes a mid travel kit with upper arms, coil springs n spindle. Pretty the same as the old Fabtech ones. And if you flip your axle then you'll get axle wrap. Keep it spring under axle n get a shackle lift and/or an add a leaf. Old man emu makes some nice leaf springs.

    Idk how you plan to mount those. The lower mounts are different.

    I would be very interested in seeing this truck put together.

    I just bought spindles for my 5lug Tacoma. What do you gain with the aftermarket UCAs?

    I'll be sure to include pics. From my understanding they are used to keep the wheels aligned, it's only nessecary because I'm doing a larger lift. I don't know that for a fact, it's more of just word on the he street. Can anyone chime in?

    Is that with a spindle lift? Did you do anything to the rear?

    That's a spindle lift, a Daystar spacer and an aal with 2" shackles. When I do the Coilovers swap I'm going to do a shackle flip and finally setup my shock mounts to get some down travel. I got fox 10" 2.0 resis but only have about 4" of down travel. Definitely not using them to their potential, but it's better than bouncing around with no shocks.

    I used a 6 lug 3" lift leaf and that only gave me about 1" of lift but it's nice and soft and gave my flat leaf pack some nice arch.
