My 15 was gonna go out this morning but she told my wife yesterday that she was gonna wait because she didn't want me to come home from a 48 and have to be in the Butcher shop all day. What a gal!! Besides, for us its not if we get any deer it's when we want to get them. We have too many due to nearby construction. So, she's got plenty of time. Gotta stock up that freezer. We use mostly ground deer meat all year long instead of beef hamburger. We grind it all ourselves and shrink pack it with a commercial packer we have. Sure saves some dough. Plus we cut all our steaks out, jerky, and make our own sausage .. dry and fresh both. Ever deer killed is nearly a full day, but it's worth it. It goes from the pasture to freezer all in one day.. cleaned, deboned, ground and packed. I do have to say it feels more and more like work the older I get .. lol.

Don't even have to deploy. Just get stationed out there and IPCOT. Tax free is always good though.

yup, that would be nice. I know a contractor that has spent like 6 years of his life deployed. Stupid amounts of money

Yeah. Retiree pay + decade of overseas contracting. Near 6-figure job is now fun money.

Things. Stuff. Lots of bad decisions.
    Mostly Zip-Ties
There's a student here that did over ten years as a computer analyst and security contractor all overseas. He once told me he "wouldn't get out of bed for less than $4000", when I laughed he told me he wasn't joking.

He's still a contractor over at Security Hill. If I were him, I'd keep that job, pilots get peanuts.

You probably won't have a hard time. Having a clearance can pull some $$.
