Clean underneath and figure something out to raise the tent up a little more. Still had trouble with some squeaking and knocking with the bed articulation. Now I'm considering painting the racks again make em look nice but idk haha.

I know this guy, he lives real close to you could probably do a damn good job on em lol. Then you wouldnt have to. And if i were you id buy some 1 1/2 x (whatever the width of your bar is peices) of aluminum and bolt them to your rack at the 4 points your tent mounts. Then mount your tent. 1 1/2 higher be enough?

If I know what I’m talking about, I think he is about to be painting a bunch of other stuff really soon.

Yeah that's kinda my plan, put something between the tent and prinsu. Problem is, I can't cut metal with what tools I have. I really only need about a half inch.

Don't need any holes drilled. Just need flat bars to lay across the prinsu bars.

What do you mean? They will be secured. The tent hardware will be sandwiching them together. I only plan to do it to the 2 prinsu bars the tent is mounted to.

Not a great photo but what I had on my phone maybe you can see it. Its the shinier looking bolt coming down to the left of the rack mount. Basically two bolts are in sliding plates on a rail in the tent, the bolts hang down around the prinsu bars, then you tighten a metal plate up against the bottom of the bar with two nuts on the bolts

Haha. What can I say? Get home from work and ran out of shit to do but wasn't tired. Figured I'd catch up on here. Still wondering what happened to @chrisrocks300 and @Davtopgun ? That might look like a bunch of likes but after 20 ish pages it's just average

I think we need to meet soon. I might be getting a bumper for Christmas and they don't offer powder coating. Any extra room in that garage? ;)
