    Truck:
Stock 2003 V6 Tacoma 4X4 Manual 150,000 miles & at sea level (Southern CA)

    Installed:
    -Gen 2 Magnuson Supercharger
    -URD 7th Injector w/PCU
    -AEM No-Weld Wideband sensor mount
-Autometer Phantom II Wideband A/f Gauge (sensor installed before first CAT)
    -Autometer Phantom II Boost Gauge
    -Lotek gauge pod
-Stant 170 Degree Thermostat & Water Wetter with Toyota coolant
-Lower temp Spark Plugs & high pressure fuel pump (came with supercharger)

I have not had a chance to do any tuning with the Split Second software yet, but I did just finish installing a wideband gauge as well as a boost gauge today (installed Supercharger & URD 7th injector a month ago).

Here are my readings from the gauges during a test run:

    Idle:
    Wideband 14.7:1
    Boost -26lbs

WOT anywhere between 2-3k RPMs in 3rd gear:
    Wideband 11:1
    Terrible Ping

WOT anywhere after 3k RPMs in 3rd gear:
    Wideband 12:1
    Boost 7lbs
    No ping above 3k RPM

The truck pings heavily if I floor it anywhere in the 2-3k RPM range in 2nd gear +

What A/F readings are ideal under boost?

    Which grade octane?

Is the 7th injector working, or just installed and awaiting tuning?

Sounds like you need to pull a few degrees of timing in the area you described.

    91 (highest available here)

It's 100% installed, never tuned by me. I understand they come tuned from URD

I think thats happening during the closed loop operation, can that be done with the Split Second software?

Your afrs look pretty good. Like stated pull few degrees timing down low. You may need a meth injection kit if you can't tune it out.

Can you unplug your 7th injector, and do a careful run to make sure it is changing your AFR's? Or are you certain that it is working?

I am not certain it's working. I might do just that and see what the AFR's show.

How do I remove timing at the lower RPM's with the split second software?

Look up the U-tune guide by Gadget @ Gadget online, or look up instructions from Split Second.

I think your 7th is working. If seen people hit 13s without. I would add fuel. I like 11.5 afr under boost.

    Thanks for the tip.
After doing some testing yesterday, I was able to get rid of the ping at 2,500 and above at full boost (7psi) by retarding the timing at lower RPM's.
Have not touched the fuel yet. At WOT my AFR is just below 12:1

Man, this would be MUCH easier with a Dyno. I feel bad beating on my truck trying to tune it though :(

Still getting a little ping at under 2,500 RPM and above 5psi boost. Think I need to take out even more timing down low.

I would try to take some more timing and see if it helps. Also shoot for 11.5-11.8 afr under boost and wot. This may help you get rid of the knock.

You can jack stand tune. Put her up on stands. Hold brake and hit gas. You can fine tune that way without driving. Of course safety 1st.

What does your Map B look like?

I don't remember which map is the Timing and which is the fuel for the 7th injector, but I have not touched my fuel map AT ALL, only played with the timing map.
If map B is the timing map, I would have to take a screen shot for ya.

That is the timing map, if you can take a screen shot. I just want to see how you have the values dispersed and what values you have in there.
