Hoe do you like that Suntory Hibiki? Was thinking about picking up a bottle. I realized Halloween night my stores are running low and I need to replenish. Was also looking at Jonnie Walker Gold, but from what I read this second iteration isn't worth the cost (first one was, and is very good, and I only have about a dram left - Sad).

 

Sad story... While those are mine, I had to leave most of them in New Orleans. The Suntory's being left behind too... They are highly rated and also pretty sought after, so I grabbed them. (I hope this doesn't piss off a few people... All that, cost me nothing but a trip to New Orleans to visit my best gal and have fun for a week!)

 

Think I'll give it a try. I want to also get a Basil Hayden - had a small sample at a restaurant and it was pretty good.

 

Love the Basil! Bookers is another fave too.

Just picked up a bottle of Tin Cup for myself. It’s from the founder of Stranahans (one of my faves). Report to follow this evening.
and a bottle of 12 year The McCallan for the husband.

We drank a bottle of tin cup on my last camping trip a couple weeks ago. It's good stuff. I enjoyed it!
