A warning to anyone who wants to purchase these screen protectors. I installed this and I couldn't read the text on my screen. The map was blurry and didn't reduce the glare at all. I removed the screen protector and it left scratches on the screen and the adhesive is nearly impossible to remove. Look elsewhere if you want to protect the screen.

To be fair, the seller did refund my purchase.

That’s weird- was there grit on it? I took mine off when installing my glass one to reset it the first time I tried to put it on I had a bubble in it- but I never had scratches.

There was nothing on it as far as I could tell.

***OP - this may help to hide your scratches too***

This one is great, I really like it since my cab gets dusty on the roads we take it, but it’s glossy and does show fingerprints. It’s glass and is very hard to scratch, I blow it off to get the grit off before using a wipe. It fits very well too- just be careful while installing on your pre-cleaned screen- it keeps bubbles if not done right and can break if bent too much.

You did remove the thicker somewhat transparent plastic part of the screen protector first right?

    Thank you for the suggestions.

I sure hope so...I removed something that was stuck to the back of the screen protector, hopefully there wasn't a second one.

Mine came with a thick somewhat transparent thing, I thought it was the protector at first and was like lol this thing sucks, but then pulled the thicker part off and had a thin totally clear protector.

In 2015 when the 3rd Gens arrived, I could not find a screen protector. I made my own from a generic tablet screen protector sheet. Still looks good after 7 years. I never put a screen protector on my Wife’s Corolla and her screen looks good, so maybe Toyota head units don’t need protectors.

I used the Screen ProTech kit. No issues, high quality kit and perfect fitment.

I keep trying to put the link but it must be one of those links you're not allowed to post here. Nice kit though.
