Wish I could find it, but the other week I read a thread on some random forum (someone posted a link here) and the dude drained his oil, then rinsed out his engine with a garden hose. Started it up to "clean it" and seized the engine. :bananadead:

I put stickers for more horse power!
The guys at parts deparment of Toyota Glen Burnie told me they dont sell the toyota genuine oil because it comes in 50 gal barrels, so they said use synthetic 75/90. Did I just screwd up?

I'm fairly certain I've seen people with smaller cans of OEM oil on here, but with that being said you should be fine with syn. A whole lot of people on here run it, including myself.

    Thats also ridiculous.

If you’re willing to spend the cheese, you can get it. https://www.oempartsource.com/oem-p...MIp_nhkqKm1wIVSSSGCh2WQQQDEAQYASABEgKxdPD_BwE

But lucas 85-140 is $8 a quart. So its cheaper than any synthetic you’ll buy and won’t let your seals fail until something else does first lol

@AR15xAR10 did you ever figure out a solution for your radiator bushings?

    Two solutions. Yes.

One, flip the big poly to the bottom, small poly on top. Leave the small washer on bottom, big washer on top

Two, buy the full cab kit and use the PROPER radiator mounts that come with it.

Wouldn't be a bad idea. I'm sure you could find someone willing to take them off your hands!

You guys all inspired me to get my hands dirty today, we'll, I tried to get them dirty, kinda hard with only 5k on the clock.

Just a tire rotation since you all freaked me out with dealer horror stories.
