I just need to figure out the best way to spice 1 wire into another in the middle of it 8 times... that will be a good solid connection that will hold up long term haha

That'll get my rock lights knocked out at least

You can get T connectors or solder it in. Use heat shrink both ways. If I was in a hurry, always am, I'd just use the crimp T connects and shrink over them.

I had debated on the T connections or quick splice
And had a wiring guru tell me he does not recommend using either for long term use
He recommended soldering it... but shit that's a lot of soldering haha

I have crimp connections on everything running on my truck right now :anonymous:

Reason for the mod day! Work on someone else's wiring and hook them up proper, then make them suffer and help me redo mine

t splices kinda suck. they usually end up cutting the wire itself in half. you could buy deutsch connectors and make it all plug and play. quite a bit more work though

Don't waste your time on engine splash shields if you plan on going off road. They work great for on the road when all you see is rain, snow, and the occasional puddle. The second you hit dirt, mud, or even look at a trail like those at LBL (there are much worse out there)... your engine bay will instantly transform to an earthy brown....

I made custom ones, went off road, and sold them to get my cost of material back

    I like splash guards
There is no good reason to not have them.
It's extra protection from road grime since all of us use our vehicles as our daily and it makes the wheel well look a bit nicer and people constantly have their head in my wheel well so that does somewhat matter to me

I don't mind people coming by or meeting somewhere local so they can see the truck. Just been busy lately dealing with personal issues

Disclaimer: I'm just telling you my experience. Take it however you will, it's your truck!

For clarification, I put my stock ones back in. I don't like the giant gaping hole where I can see right to the block. The stock clips are terrible. I replaced a couple with Chrysler (I think**) clips from the hardware store, and zip ties in other places

Possibility.... All depends on schedule. Has to be Saturday for me. We've got a favorite restaurant near Midway. Looking for an excuse to go eat lunch their. It's near the horse farms. Great photo ops.

You can stop in the Orange lot and grab a pic of my truck at the stadium if need be some time.

But yeah I'd be down for it sometime. I can pack the drone, but i don't drink coffee.
